Case Study: Purple Tuesday

We designed the brand for Purple Tuesday, a national year-round campaign to make shopping more accessible. The project included designing the full visual identity, logos and suite of materials for print, screen and merchandise.

The campaign gained widespread coverage including national news (Financial Times, Bloomberg, i News, BBC News), trended on Twitter and was adopted nationwide in stores including Sainsbury’s, M&S and Asda, and also in shopping centres throughout the UK on billboards including the Piccadilly lights.

Case Study: University of Cambridge

We have designed print materials for the University since 2015, including programmes for events and annual reports for academic departments and sponsors.

An annual report project in March 2017 included the overall design, layout of text in English and Chinese, photo editing, in-house proofreading, illustration and packaging for print. All to the campaign guidelines. Images © University of Cambridge.

Case Study: Anaemia Manifesto

We were tasked with designing an identity for the Anaemia Manifesto and materials for its launch in parliament. We delivered brand assets; logo, colour swatches and typefaces, collateral; folders, invitations, banners and infographic icons and designed the manifesto itself. More information about the project can be found at the AM website and the Nursing Times.

“Matt Willatt Design helped us launch a healthcare manifesto in parliament. The designs and event support they provided were integral to the successful launch of the Anaemia Manifesto. The clean visuals stood out in the room and provided the cut through we needed to get our message across to the doctors and MPs who attended the event.”
